Finley's bedroom makeover

Because we had been living in the house for about 6 months, we decided over the summer, it was about time to do something special to Finley's bedroom.  She wasn't bothered too badly by the blue paint or the baseball wallpaper border, but she wasn't ecstatic bout her room either.... so we spend about 2 weeks making it perfect for her. She was not allowed to open the door during that time, so the final reveal was a complete surprise!

Slip N Slide Summers

This was the summer for slipNslides. We don't live on a big hill, but that didn't stop the kiddos from packing on the suds and going for a ride. We had a blast on this particular night when Grandma and Pap Snooch brought the kids over to play.

Elizabeth Kate

Libby Kate is our little stink pot. She's absolutely a complete different personality than big sister and we totally love it. Libby Kate loves attention, and will do anything stinky to get it.

She is now almost 19 months old and is very independent. She wants to self feed and does NOT want your help at all.

She loves food and will do whatever it takes to ensure it ends up in her mouth!

Libby Kate's favorite toys are her baby dolls. She loves to rock them, hold them, feed them, and sing to them. She's a good mommy.

She runs to windows and to the back door and constantly begs to go outside. She LOVES it outside. Her favorite thing about the outdoors is our rocky driveway. She will play with those rocks forever if you let her...

She is starting to communicate more and her fav. words include:
cracker, mommy, dadda, Jessie, Sissy, Addy, Nana, Papaw, Puppy, Pappy (pacifier), blanket, Pa (bread), side (outside), What's it? , and bye-bye.....
Papaw Snooch taught her to say "I love you", but she really only says "I You"
She gives great kisses and hugs

She finally has TEETH!!! She's got 4 on top (can you believe it??) and almost 4 on the bottom. She had no teeth until 15 months, so this is quite an accomplishment for LK... She loves to brush her new teeth nightly, with Mommy's help of course!

We are so blessed with this little sleeper. We swear by babywise and the time we integrated it into our life at her first 2 weeks of life.... She's slept through the night since 5 weeks and that has made Roberson life so much better!
Libby Kate will only sleep in her bed. She can't be rocked to sleep or held to sleep (unless she's sick).... Her bedtime routine includes rocking/singing/snuggling.... bedtime prayers and kisses and then we lay her in her crib and out she goes.... she's done crying by the time we reach the door, if she cries at all. We love it....

We love this kid so much! We love that God gave her to us, and we look forward to watching her continue to grow into such a sweet little girl!

Just Finley

I thought it was necessary to just post some pictures of our growing 4.5 year old.
Finley is really such a joy in our lives. We know she's gift from God and we just love that He chose us to be her Mommy & Daddy. Such a super cool honor that we are so humbly unworthy of! She's the sweetest, smartest, most beautiful girl we know and we couldn't make her this good if we tried. She's such a great big sister, a super helper, a fantastic listener, and so gentle with animals/bugs/flowers.... We're so proud!

This is Finley on her last day of Preschool. She's in a year round school, so she got about 6 weeks off for summer... so her last day was in the middle of June! She'll go back August 1st! She'll begin Pre-K!!!! What a big girl. She knows all of her letters and what sounds they make and how to write them all. She of course knows all of her colors, the pledge of allegiance, and can write and identify all of her numbers as well.
