Libby Kate Update

My sweet baby girl turned 8 months old on Sunday! I cannot believe how fast these months are going! Libby Kate is such a sweet little baby.  We're so blessed to have her as ours.  Below the cutie picture (thanks, Daddy) are some of LK's newest feats!

  Libby Kate LOVES to eat. She doesn't like babyfood anymore, so she'll pretty much eating whatever we eat (without any teeth)
• 
  
  That's right.... no teeth yet.  We think she's been teething for 4 months, but nothing popping through yet.  Love that gummy smile!
• 
  
  First word: "Momma!"  LK said Momma one day several times.  She's not said it again since.  Now she says "Dadda".  I still get the prize for first word.
• 
  
  Libby Kate loves to play on the floor.  She now goes from sitting to on her belly.  She loves to get into the crawl position, but that's as far as it goes. No taking off yet.
• 
  
  LK gets to spend 3 days a week with her cousin Addy at Aunt Jessie's house.  She spends one day with Nana at work and one day with Papaw Snooch and Grandma Lorie. She is so blessed to have so many people love and care for her!

Finley spent time with her little sister on her very first day of school.  They loved on each other and then Fin got her backpack on and ready to go!

When we dropped Finley off, all I could think of was bringing home my little baby girl and laying her on the floor in her little pink outfit. .... and then the tears came:

We picked up Finley in the private car line and she looked like such a big girl in her line!

Back to School shopping

I know this is really late, but I couldn't get the pictures off of my little camera. Finley got to pick out her very first backpack. We made it a special event.  Finley was very serious about her backpack.  After trying them all on, she chose one with a kitten. What a sweet girl.

Papaw has grown a LOT of corn this summer. Finley has been a super gardener herself. She has truly helped out Nana and Papaw as much as an adult would be able to do. She was in charge of cleaning all of the cobs. What an awesome helper.

4H fun

I forgot my camera during our trip to the 4H fair, but luckily my sister had hers. My girls sure had a great time looking at the farm animals, eating some yummy food and riding around seeing people. We were all wiped out by the end of the night.

Aubree's 3rd Birthday

Finley was invited to Aubree's 3rd birthday party. She had a BLAST. We got to the party a little early and Finley got an early start on playing with the girls. What a wonderful time.
