Miss Pacifier

We've been attempting the "goodbye pacifier" event for awhile now. We finally made the commitment to begin our journey last Friday. It's been a LONG road, but it began at Build-A-Bear, where Finley picked out a special bear and put her passy inside of her.

In it goes:

Picking out the perfect clothes

So proud:

When it was bedtime, Finley did not want her bear anymore and instead cried for her real pacifier. We've had some late nights, and we still haven't gone to bed without crying, but we are passy-free in the Roberson home (except for Libby Kate).
Pray that little Finley will remaster her previous bedtime routines of going to bed without screaming for hours!

Sisters

Here are some pictures to compare Finley and Libby Kate. We think it's crazy how different their looks are. What do you think?

Catching a smile or two

I was just saying today that Libby Kate is almost 9 weeks old and doesn't do much smiling. It's not that she's an unhappy baby, but she just sits and observes, never really giving a smile. Well tonight she proved me wrong long enough for a few pictures. Now, I know she might have been preparing for the MASSIVE poopy diaper that followed these pictures, but as a mommy I will be counting these as intentional smiles. Look how precious:

Brag Time

I have to make a public brag on my wonderful hubby Andrew. By the end of the day I am sometimes so worn out that I forget to really let him know how wonderful I think he is. He's not only the most selfless servant of a husband, but he's an AMAZING daddy to his two little girls. Andrew wakes up ready to help his three girls get ready for the day and he goes to bed doing whatever he can to make his three girls happy. When I dreamed about my future husband, I had no idea the man God would give me. I have always dreamed about being a stay at home mom, and although that is not an option right now, I am overwhelmingly ecstatic that my girls spend their day with the best man I know. I love you, honey. Thank you for loving us girls!
