Terrible 19Months...

Ok, so I know these are the Terrible "Twos" yet, but we'll call them the Terrible 19months, because they are that! I thought it would be fun to cue you in on what a night has looked like in the Roberson home for a few weeks now!

We start out with a night time snack. Tonight was a ice cream bar. And at this point, we are happy.

We really don't want to have our picture taken, but we're letting it happen.
We decide we would rather jump around and slide off the couch, instead of posing for Mommy.
Oh, but we are just sooo cute! We're happy as can be...
We love each other!

And then............... It's time to brush our teeth....... and we MELT
As you can clearly see, Daddy is torturing poor Finn by making her brush her teeth.
It really can become a two parent job.....
She bites the toothbrush, which makes this a little difficult.
And then we get tired and apologize with a hug for Daddy.
And a kiss too.
I love parenting!

Pizza Time

If you ever ask Finley what she wants to eat, she will say PIZZA. She love love loves pizza. Tonight we tried to take her to the zoo, but much to our surprise, they were closed. So we decided to settle with the animals at PETCO and then of course, pizza! She's such a goofy girl. What a ham!!

Sick Finn

Little Finn is sick today.  She's been pukey and sleepy.  She looks like such a big girl laying here watching her movies.  We love her so much! Pray for Finley's little body to heal!!!!

today we woke up early (thanks to finley being on a schedule... i guess she didn't get the memo that it was saturday). daddy made pancakes for breakfast then we got dressed and went to the pool. and since it was such a beautiful day we decided that we wanted to go to the zoo. sadly we forgot and left the camera in the car while we were at the zoo... so there are no pictures. but we are members at the zoo... so we'll go back again and again. finley is learning to count, in her own special way. she knows how to count to 10... but she'd rather say 1,2,3,5,6,7,9,10,7.

finley loves to sing and dance now. we sing all the time with her, at home, and in the car. but she also sings and dances everyday at daycare. this is a really long video, and you'll have to get through the nonsense at the beginning (she has to have her audience, and that includes her puppies...) but i thought it was too cute not too show...

What a Big Girl

Finley is really growing up. She's speaking all the time. She even sometimes tells us when she has to "poop". She's actually made it on the potty a few times lately. She's so big!

We took her picture on her first day of "school" (daycare). Doesn't she look like such a big girl? Poor thing will have a second "first day" of daycare on Monday, because we changed facilities. What a trooper!

Go TN

Mommy, Daddy and Finley all bought matching TN shirts! We decided to take some family pictures in the spirit of Daddy starting Pharmacy School! Finley thought she was "hot stuff" in Daddy's hat! She's such a ham. Look at those facial expressions! We love her so much!

What a great weekend

Daddy came home for the weekend, and we had a blast! Here are some pictures from our weekend, and a few from before Daddy's arrival.

Here is Finley's first meal at our new table:

She loves to play under the table. She couldn't do that with our old table. Sweet girl.
As soon as Daddy came home, he played with Finley in her tent. They had a blast together, as usual.

Saturday morning was Pancake Saturday! Daddy made amazing pancakes for us all! !!! Finley loves pancakes!

Even though it was 102 degrees outside, we decided to take some quick shots at this amazing field outside of Germantown. There are 5 or so rows of gorgeous giant Sunflowers! Don't mind the sweaty faces!!!

This morning Finley asked for a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast. Isn't she big?
After Daddy left, Mommy and Nana took Finley to the pool. She only played on the steps, but she loved it! She's so big!
