Great-Great-Grandma Strawberries

Although traveling to Evansville was a sad time for our family, we tried to make the most of our visit. Finley got to spend some time visiting her Great-Great-Grandma Strawberries. She was actually wearing the dress that G.G. Grandma made Momma in 1983. Guess what? G.G.Grandma recognized it! Right away! She even commented about the hem. What a lady!

Poppy's and 'Scream

Tonight we went to Great Poppy and Aunt Juju's for dinner and ice cream. Finley had a fantastic time. She recieved lots of attention from everyone. (she likes attention)

Finley crawling away from her cousin Jacob..... and then looking back at him... she thought he was the coolest thing! We told Jacob that Finley only understands Spanish... so he had us translate things to her all night. It was quite funny!

Finley had some ice cream via Aunt Dee-Dee and Cousin Annie (and Chloe too!)

Tyler, however, preferred her Banana Pudding to Ice Cream.

Finley let Rachel hold her for a few seconds... just in time to get a picture. Rachel LOVES Elvis, and ironically enough Finley was born on his birthday!
Finley tried to pull up on Tyler all night (she does this with Karisse all the time!)... Tyler wouldn't have it.

Mr. Bubbles... bubbles of fun- or rash?

We bought Finley some "Mr Bubbles" bubble bath. She loved it! However, within 5 minutes her skin had broken out with a nasty rash. No fear! We rinsed her, changed the bath water, and rewashed our little fish.... and she was as good as new!

Part of the reason we've been behind on posting lately is because Finley is keeping us quite busy. She is officially mobile! She crawls (in her own special way) and we wanted to share it with you.

Antique Shopping

We took Finley antique shopping with us a week ago. She picked out her very own table and chairs. She also picked out a new red rocking chair. She loves them all very much! We had to send the table and chairs home with Nana, until we have more room for them!

BFFs

Finley is sooo soo lucky to have such a great friend, Karisse Rose. Karisse and Finley get to play at church, small group, Sunday Lunches, and other friendly activities. Christy and Larry (Karisse's mom and dad) are also wonderful friends to Finley's mom and dad. We're all so lucky!
