Making a Home

Finley and Mommy are trying to get comfortable in our new home. It's very hard being away from daddy and from family and friends. We don't have a kitchen table yet, so Finley has been sharing with Mommy and Nana. What a sweet girl!

Finley does like her bathtub. It's much like her old tub, but she now likes to lay on her back and put her ears under the water. She's sooo funny. What a big girl!

Wedding and Memphis

Auntie Cousin Ashley got married on Saturday night. Finley danced up a storm and had a ball! She was so exhausted she couldn't even smile for the camera... but we got a super cute picture with Papaw Snooch, Grandma Lorie and their grandkids.....

The sunshine was very bright on our way to Memphis. Finley asked for her sunglasses! What a rockstar!

Today Mommy got to work in her classroom. Finley came by to have lunch and help a little. She loved sitting in the desks. She attempted to eat her subway sandwich, but was just too distracted by all the cool stuff in Mommy's classroom!

Fair Time

Last week was 4-H Fair week in Evansville. We chose a really nice day to take Finley to the fair. When Nana got out the camera to take some pictures, the battery died. So we had to take a few with our phone!

Finley LOVES pizza.... and she requested cheese pizza at the fair. She loved it, despite what her face may portray in this picture.
Mommy's favorite thing about the fair is the homemade icecream! It's absolutely delicious!!! Finley thought so too!

Pool time

Here is a fun video of Finley and Karisse in the swimming pool. These two girls are so sweet! And... so big!

Quick trip to JC

Finley, Mommy and Daddy made a very quick trip to Johnson City. Finley had a Dr's appointment on Monday morning and then we left on Tuesday morning. We had just enough time to see Granny, Papa, Edwin, Cari, Dee-dee, Ross, The Booths and the Dickisons. As you can see below she had a wonderful visit.

Finley absolutely LOVED seeing her Granny and Papa. She loved on them right away. She loves them so much!







We took Finn to play with Karisse for a few hours. They were in heaven. They couldn't stop hugging and lovin' on each other. What sweet girls!!! They played with toys and then went swimming! Fun times!

Lately

Last weekend Finley went to her cousin, Leslie and Eric's wedding in Bloomington. It was beautiful, but REALLY hot! An outdoor reception left Finley sweaty and half naked!

Poor Finn wasn't feeling well either, but that didn't stop her from playing with her cousins and Papaw Snooch!

This week Finley helped Mommy move into our new apartment in Memphis. Finley was sooo happy to see her toys. It was like Christmas. She must have forgotten that they ever existed! We're back in Evansville now until July 27th.

A lot of fun things have happened in the past few days for Finley. Aunt Jessie came over and played with her. And she got to move in with Nana and Papaw! Daddy had to move back to Johnson City for 5 weeks (to take a class), so she and Mommy moved in with Nana and Papaw (so Mommy could have extra help and so Finley could see them more often)! Finley is excited to spend extra time with her Nana and Papaw.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to state that our little Finley is growing up. She is sooo big! She's attempting full sentences and she doesn't look like a baby anymore. Time flies!
