Florida Day One!

After two days of driving, we have finally made it to the beach. Here are some pictures from our first stay.

We arrived around 5pm. Finley helped us load up our luggage.
This is the view from our condo! It's the most beautiful place in which we've ever stayed!
Finley had her first experience with sand, and she loved it!






Then we went to the kiddie pool. It's only a few inches deep, with lots of water squirting from lots of directions!

Because Finley was sandy and cold, Papaw took a bubble bath with her!

Packing

The Dickisons came over tonight to help us pack AGAIN. They have been a fantastic help this week, and just fun to be around (of course)! We have almost everything packed up! Finley and Karisse soon became sleepy. They played in Finley's crib for awhile, before actually going to bed!

The Final Supper

Tonight our Small Group took us out for one final meal at La Campina. We spend many a Sunday lunch at this fantastic Mexican restaurant. Tonight Finley decided to dip her peaches into hot salsa. It actually didn't turn out too well. She ended up screaming and needing yogurt to take away the burn. We're not bad parents, but Finley wouldn't listen to us and was stubborn about eating her peaches spicy. She learned.

After dinner Finley and Karisse posed for some cute shots...... these girls are ridiculous.

Green Tub

Karisse came over to help Finley pack tonight. They both got really messy and had to have a bath. They used bubbles and green soap! These girls are loads of laughs!

Dipping Queen

Today Finley had chicken nuggets from McDonalds with apple dippers. She didn't quite know if she liked the caramel too much. She couldn't decide if caramel tasted better on apples or chicken!

Grandma and Grandpa

Finley is blessed with not only her own wonderful grandparents, but she also has an amazing set of adopted grandparents. Karisse's Grandma and Grandpa adopted Finley as their own little grandbaby too! Finley spent a week last summer at camp with Grandma and Grandpa and she's spent every Tuesday this year with them too! They are wonderful people and we're all going to miss them dearly, as will Finley!

Hooray for Friends

Tonight Karisse came over to play with Finley (along with Christy, Larry and Kristen)! Finley and Karisse had a great time and played well together, even though both girls lacked naps today. Mommy did both girls' hair this evening, which they thoroughly enjoyed. These two girls are so much fun! Everyone laughed a lot!

Both girls loved to have their shirts pulled over their heads. They were so funny, we had to take pictures!

And of course, there were lots of hugs tonight.

Bath Time with Papaw

These pictures are a few weeks old, but we've been so busy that we've been slacking in the picture taking. When Mommy and Finley went home a few weeks ago Papaw gave Finley a bath in the kitchen sink. Finley loves her Papaw! She felt like such a special girl, to get to take a bath in the sink! Thanks Papaw! and we can't wait to see you Friday!

Bubbles and Daddy

Finley loves bath time! We just bought her some allergy free bubble bath, which has made bath time even more fun!




Daddy had surgery today on his nose and tonsils. He's doing well, and even sharing his milkshakes and yogurt with Finley. She is one lucky girl. She points to Daddy's nose and says, "ouchy". She's so sweet. She blows him kisses from a distance, to keep from hurting his ouchy.
