Happy Easter

Easter Morning Finley woke up to two special Easter baskets and a giant rubber ducky. Of course you can imagine which one was her favorite.

and her favorite candy...

At church we all wore matching Easter outfits, but there are no photos to prove it. But here Finn is in her pink and grey dress and pink jacket (and pigtails!)

Then, after church it was off to Great-grandpa's farm on the mountain for lunch and an Easter Egg hunt, mommy had to help, but she had a great time and found quite a few eggs!

After a while Finn decided that rocks were easier to find, and were just as fun! Even cousin Tyler decided to join her...

Aunt aunt Juju and Granny held Tootsie the chicken and let Finn pet her, she loved it

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Dying Easter Eggs

Tonight we took on the adventuring of coloring (or dying) Easter eggs. Two problems surfaced, before we even began:
1. We only had brown eggs
2. The coloring kit we bought was missing the dye tablets and the egg dipper. The box indicated that they both were inside, but the manufacturer must have made a mistake.

But this did NOT stop the Robersons. We used icing dye instead, and as you can see we produced some very humble eggs, indeed.
Finley helped Mommy use the plastic spoon to dip the eggs.
She watched the green egg come out!

The pink egg was really the only egg that looked fully colored. Finley loved the pink egg!

She had to put sticker "eyes" and a sticker "mouth" on each egg. But she couldn't quite master the release of the sticker from her finger.

So Mommy helped a little.

And ladies and gentlemen... the final result: We call them the seven special "egg" friends

and then we got carried away with the extra stickers

About this time Finley was ready for a bath and nigh-night.

Happy Easter!

Puppies, Chicks, and Great-Great Grandma Strawberries

Well, we are having a great time in Evansville! Finley loves the kitties, and they don't seem to be bothering her (so hopefully she's not allergic!)! She calls the kitties, "Meow". She's so funny.

Finley has a giant puppy dog in her room here at Nana and Papaws's house. She loves her big doggie and she wanted to carry it out into the living room.... but she couldn't.... so she had to drag it out!

Today we went to Rural King to visit the baby chicks, turkeys, and duckies. Finley wasn't allowed to touch them, but she sure loved looking at them. They were really cute, although they were a little smelly!

After visiting the animals we all went to visit Finley's Great-great grandma Strawberries. She turned 96 years old this past week. She's a crazy old woman! We love her!

After an awesome dinner we all headed back to play at Nana and Papaw's. Finley played for a little bit, but was soon ready for bed- after such a great day!
