Happy Halloween!

Tonight was Finley's first Halloween! She dressed up like a monkey. Mommy dressed up like a tree, and daddy dressed up like a zookeeper. We hosted a trunk at Avoca's Trunk-or-Treat. We had a great time. Finley was very excited with Karisse showed up! She was the cutest ladybug you could ever ask for. After our evening was over, Finley was completely pooped. Phew! We had a great Boo Day!

Finley is learning all kinds of new things. She loves to climb everything she can. She also loves to play with daddy. But when she needs some lovin' .... to momma she's a runnin'!

Milligan Homecoming

This weekend is Milligan's Homecoming Weekend. Finley got a chance to meet a lot of people Momma and Daddy went to school with! And.... she got to experience her first parade and her first train ride! Hooray!

Something New

Finley has just enough hair to stick up in a pony tail. She doesn't really like it too much, but we think it's super cute. She also has a new smile. She likes to cheese it up for the camera. She's such a little stinker. We lover this little rotten girl!

A home for toys

Finley got two new toyboxes for her toys. She has a small one for her bedroom and a bigger one for the livingroom. They have already been so helpful. The livingroom box can serve as a moving coffee table and foot rest. Both boxes are on wheels. They are real wood from "Wood You". They were less money because they are not finished. But we don't mind. One day we will finish them.

PlayDATE

Saturday night Finley had two male visitors: Nate and Isaac. Finley played very well with the boys. She shared her toys and let them read her books too! She is a great friend to whomever she meets!

New Foods

Finley hates babyfood now. I don't know why, but she insists on feeding herself, whatever the food might be. Andrew and I have had to become extremely creative with foods now. Monday was Andrew's night. He chose spaghettios for our little sweetie. How ironic that Andrew chose the meal, gave her all the noodles to hand-feed herself, and then left minutes before she was done to go to Jazz Band. Evil daddy! Leaving mommy in charge of wiping, bathing, washing, and vaccumming. It was quite the event to say the least. So in the future, Andrew has vowed to prewash her speghettios. Yes, we will remove all the red sauce prior to Finley's feedings. Oh the joys of parenthood!



Tonight we tried cottage cheese (mommy's choice). Cottage cheese wasn't as bad as Monday's cuisine, but it still made quite the mess. Finley was also tired and cranky, so she insisted on banging her hand in the cottage cheese, rather than eating it.

9 months old!

I cannot believe our baby girl is 9 months old today! These past 9 months have been an amazing blessing. We love her sooo much. We drove to Knoxville yesterday to meet with our favorite photographer, Julie Roberts! Here is a sampling of our shoot from yesterday! Julie had to wade through 700 + pictures!
