Pretty Baby

Libby Kate loves her Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper (yes, I had to google this toy to figure out the name). She is quite the big girl. Although she spits up a LOT in her jumper, she is very happy!

Mother's Day

Before you freak out, let me warn you. Yes, there are more than 40 images on this post. I couldn't narrow it down to less than these pictures. So I am apologizing in advance. I am a photo journalist at heart, and I feel like these pictures (as well as so many others) do such a great job of sharing special memories.

On Mother's Day we spent the morning at church, lunch at my mom's and then the afternoon and dinner at my dad's. We took a lot of pictures at Dad's, because Finley was playing so well and the lighting was perfect.

Papaw Snooch and Grandma Lorie built a really nice playground for all of their grandbabies. What a treat! Finley LOVED it:

Papaw also has a little rope swing up for the kids. Finley was very nervous (as was mommy) about climbing the ladder and letting go.

But with Papaw's help she was a success!

This girl would swing for hours if you let her.

Libby Kate got some Papaw Snooch lovins.

Look at my pretty big girl. Those eyes melt my heart.

Monkey bars come naturally to this little monkey.

Trying the rope swing again:

It was pretty chilly, so Addy had to wrap up and snuggle with her mommy.

Soon Nate (or "Nay-nay") and Lauren arrived. The party began for Finley!

Don't let Nate's size fool you... this boy is a BEAST. He can swing on the rope swing like Tarzan!

Grandma and Papaw

The 3 Musketeers:

Uncle Wes is such a great sport. He pushed these three kiddos all over the yard in a go-cart and jeep. What a fun uncle!

I love Finley's expression in this picture:

Some great pictures of Papaw and Grandma with their 2 youngest grandbabies:

We had a blast and the girls really slept hard that night! Thanks for such a great time and for the yummy steak sandwiches (not pictured)! Love you guys!

Baby Food Makin'

Tonight Finley helped me make Libby Kate some babyfood. I did not make Finley's babyfood, but at that time we had food stamps and could use them to buy her some baby food. Now we are trying to save lots of money, so we invested in a cheap food processor and some ice cube trays and voila!!!! baby food!!!! Tonight we made some bananas!

Patiently waiting for her dinner:

Finley insisted on trying it out first (even though it was mixed with breastmilk- ha)

.... and Libby Kate gives it a try

Yum!!!

Libby Kate was one happy girl!
