Last Saturday (the 15th) we went to Evansville to celebrate "Cousins Day" with Grandma Judy and the Belows. We had a very quick, exhausting, but fun weekend. Saturday wore everyone out. We ate, swam, visited and sat around for hours. Finley was sooo excited when her cousin Jaye Laura showed up! They played on the computer with Aunt Jessie, football with Zach and Matt, Bears with each other, and they even had hotdogs together. Finley still talkes about Jaye Bug and can't wait to play with her again. These two are quite the pair:
The other night we looked over and noticed that Finley had set up her table for a tea party. She had used her blanket as the tablecloth and had set every cup, pot, pan, plate, and piece of silverware out for her stuffed animals. The best part was that she did it all on her own. She is so creative, we've not played tea with her before. She played like this for more than half an hour. love her!
Today we decided to move some furniture around. Finley's bed was moved away from her wall. She no longer needs the guard rail !! What a big girl we have! She also went through her stuffed animals. We made three piles: Keep, give to Aunt Jessie's baby girl, and Give to Kids in Need. I was so impressed with how willingly our two year old gave her toys away. She's got such a great heart. She would pull out a stuffed animal and say, "I give this toy to a kid" or "This is for Aunt Jessie". Then we put the piles in bags and we'll take them by the goodwill tonight. What a sweet girl!!!
