Happy Boo Day

This week has been filled with fun dress up days at school. Her favorite outfit was her ballerina outfit for career day:

We had planned on being Minnie Mouse for Halloween this year, but after seeing this butterfly costume, Finley insisted on purchasing it and changing to this cute bug for Boo day. We both agree that she was quite the little butterfly.
Today we went to Trunk or Treat at Faith Baptist Church and then to Amanda and Kyle's neighborhood. What a little ham we have. She didn't know a stranger tonight. She walked right up to every person and into a few houses without an invitation. We had to stop her from making herself at home several times. What a sweet girl!

At FBC we met up with Tommy for a quick ride on the train! What a pair!

What a bucket of yummy treats! This will last Finley for at least a year! Happy Halloween!

Jessica and Jon are married!

This weekend was crazy busy. We spent Friday- Sunday in Evansville. 16 of those hours were spent shooting a wedding a 2 other shoots. Mommy & Daddy shot the Schaefer wedding all day Saturday, and although they were exhausted, they had a great time! Finley spent all weekend doing fun things with Nana and Papaw. They picked out pumpkins, went shopping and caught up with us at the wedding. Finley had a great time dancing the night away, playing with her cousin Jaye, and bouncing in the bouncy house. What a fun weekend!

Little Miss Thing

Finley loves to disappear into my bedroom, only to find and put on what she calls "boobies". What a little goober. We thought this might give you a laugh! She even puts them on under her shirt now.

A Peek into the Womb

Friday our whole little family got to peek at precious Libby Kate. Finley LOVED seeing her baby sister. I know we are biased, but we think she's pretty stinking cute already!

Finley helps get Libby Kate's room ready

Yesterday when Finley woke up from her nap, she was unbelievably excited about helping getting Libby Kate's room ready. She really, really wanted to help Mommy paint LK's letters. She did a fantastic job. She also helped take apart the diaper cake Nana made and we put the diapers in baskets and into the closet for later use. She helped hold a flashlight so Daddy could see to install a new light in the nursery. Finley showed us all the things she will do to help with Libby Kate. She went into her bedroom and picked out some of her favorite books that she wanted to give to her baby sister. Her love and excitement has been overwhelming and humbling for us. We are so blessed!

As of about 10pm, we finally finished Libby Kate's room! We love it! All it needs now is Libby Kate Roberson! We hope you love it too!

Pumpkin Patch

We woke up this morning and the house was 62 degrees. Fall is here! We're just hoping it stays for awhile before winter barges in. Today was a jam packed family day for the Robersons. We went shopping and went to Priddy Farms to an amazing Pumpkin Patch Adventure. Priddy Farms is a wonderful place for family. They have amazing playground equipment, swing sets, train rides, hay rides AND of course, a pumpkin patch. We had a great family time.

Finley had to play first! After her playing subsided, we went on a hayride. She was not too excited about the ride. She cried and said she was scared. This is strange because she is such a brave girl! After she realized it was a fun ride, she began throwing hay, like all the other kids, and had a blast.

The tractor dropped us off into a field with lots of tiny pumpkins. Finley searched for the perfect one. She was the last little kid back on the tractor. She's very picky.

On the way back she told us that this pumpkin was actually for her baby sister, Libby Kate. What a sweet girl we have. She spent all that time looking for the perfect pumpkin for her baby sister, not thinking once about herself.

Back on the farm we picked out 3 more pumpkins.

Here is our Pumpkin Family:

A little more playing was necessary.

After our adventure Finley had to use the potty. I just thought this was a priceless picture. She'll hate me when she's older. Every parent of a toddler needs a froggy potty for the back of their mini-van!
