Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!  We all had Wednesday - Sunday off!

Wednesday morning we got up early and went to Bob Evans for breakfast.
Then we spent some time going through our closet and getting rid of clothes we don't wear anymore.  Finley played in our unused hangers.
Finley and Daddy had a heart to heart......
.... and decided Finley needed a bath!  We may be biased, but we sure have a cute little girl!

THURSDAY morning we had breakfast with the Meeks (Andrew's family).  Then we went to Andrew's grandpa's house on the mountain.  We all sat around and relaxed.  Around noon Finley was ready to eat again.  She had her first Thanksgiving meal.... and she loved it!

Then we got a plane at 2:55 pm from Tri-Cities to Evansville.  There were not many people flying that day... so we had a lot of room to ourselves.
Here we are waiting to load the plane.

Finley was excited about her first flying experience ever!
... still haven't taken off yet.
....beautiful....

We finally arrived in Evansville just in time for dinner with Crystal's Granny Judy and the Below/Walker bunch.  Finley enjoyed the food but mostly the sweet potatoes.  She also enjoyed the Christmas puppy with bells on its ears.
On Friday we braved the mall!  It wasn't too bad.  We stopped by to visit Finley's Great-Great Grandma on the way back from the mall!  Here is a picture of 5 GENERATIONS!
Finley loves her Great-Great Grandma Strawberries

Friday night Papaw made a fire in the fireplace.  Finley thought this was too cool.

On Saturday we had another Thanksgiving meal with the Arnolds.  Before they came over Papaw played the piano with Finley.
She's quite the musician.

Unfortunetely, we had to come home on Sunday night.  Papaw and Nana drove us to the airport, which was decorated for Christmas already!  Finley wore her jammies, and it was a good thing because she was pooped!

Here is Mommy and Finley in the Cincinnati airport.  Finley is about to fall asleep.
Daddy takes Finn on a walk around to burn some time.

On our way home soon....

baby it's cold outside...

We finally found a hat that Finley doesn't immediately try to remove whenever we put it on her. And it's so cute too! So now it's perfect since the weather has finally decided to cool off.

This month's accomplishments...

Finley has basically figured out this whole walking business. She is still pretty wobbly, but she is very determined. The Holidays are going to be so much more exciting now...

She has also become quite the little signer. It is so amazing that we are able to communicate with our 10 month old little girl! Her favorite sign is definitely "milk," she pretty much uses it for everything... no matter what she wants. But she can tell us when she is hungry, when she wants milk, about her favorite animal (dog), and best of all, she is polite and says please. Love her!

10!

Finley is 10 months old today. I know, we can't believe it either! This morning we had a little photo-op in her new winter outfit...

Here she is in her little fuzzy bunny slippers. Perfect for cold days!

happy 10 months!!

if you're happy and you know it...

Finley is definitely a little sponge right now. She is learning so quickly, and it's a lot of fun. This week she has improved her dancing techniques and she has learned to clap.

What a day!

This was quite a busy weekend for Miss Finley. Aunt Jess and Brian came to visit. We had fun all weekend. They left to head back to Evansville this morning. Today was a fun day as well. Finley played in her rocking chair and danced! She had snacks with Karisse in the nursery and got to wear her new winter coat to church! Wow, what a day!
