A package for Finn

Finley loves to receive mail. Today she got a special package of books and clothes from Nana, Papaw, Auntie Jessy, Chaucer, Hope, Darla, and Kona. She loved her two Halloween books, new clothes, and personalized card. The card had pictures of all the senders (pets included). Finley wanted to try her new shirt on right away (as you can see in the first picture). What a sweet girl! Thanks Nana & co.!!!!!!!!!!

Incredible Pizza

Monday night was a special night for Mommy's school. The Robersons got to celebrate at Incredible Pizza, along with other teachers, students, administrators, and PTSA moms. Finley LOVED it. She got to eat a TON of pizza, while watching TV on a massive screen. She had ice cream and cookies. What a lucky girl. Finley also got to ride rides and play games. Incredible Pizza is like a family Chuck E Cheese, but with a much bigger/better dinner selection. Here is a peek into last night's festivities.

Finley driving her little 50s car.
Throwing balls into fish mouths.
Enjoying a nice ride on the mini-merry-go-round.
NOT enjoying the motorcycle ride with Mommy. Check out that face. She was probably scared, because at this point Mommy was hitting the side of the railing and plummeting into a river somewhere.
And we always love family picture opportunities! What a big girl!!!

Sunday Mornings

Today is a beautiful day in Memphis. The sun is shining, but the air is a nice cool/warm. This put all three Robersons in a great mood! After church today we decided to take some family photos to show how big Finley really has gotten. She's such a silly girl. She LOVES having her picture made, but has a hard time keeping her eyes in the right direction. Don't you think that Andrew and Finley have the most beautiful blue eyes!!!! I'm a lucky wife and momma!!!

A Fair Weekend

Away from our usual Saturday at the zoo, the Robersons ventured out to the Memphis Midsouth Fair. It took 40 minutes to get there, $17 to park and get in, and then we were there for about an hour. It was nothing like the Fall Festival at home, so we were disappointed. But, Finley did enjoy the "petting zoo" area. And she loved her ice cream!!!!

Daddy had to buy a stethoscope for school, and Finley thought it was the coolest thing. She had to check to make sure big bird wasn't sick. She is such a sweet girl. She also checked her own
bellybutton and her elmo easter basket.

What a smart cookie!

Tonight Finley decided to say her ABCs all by herself. Honestly, we did not help at all. Once the camera was watching, we had to do some encouraging, but this girl knows her ABCs. I'm not sure if she's learning these at school, or just from me singing them to her. But she's so smart and funny!

Ok. They aren't perfect by any means. But pay close attention to what she says at the end. It's hard to hear, because she has turned around at this point. But she says, "Now I said my ABCs, next time won't you sing with me!" What a cutie!!!!!

No more baby girl

Finley is officially a toddler tonight.  What confirmed it for us was an incident that occurred at bedtime.  When we went to put her pajamas on, they did not reach up to her shoulders.  She is too long.  We had to do the only thing we knew to do: We cut off the feet.

Funny slide girl

This pictures were taken with Daddy on Friday.  I just thought they had to be shared with you!!!  What a silly girl! !!

cookie MONSTER

Finley's favorite food in the world has to be COOKIES. She absolutely loves any cookie you offer her. We went to the Great American Cookie Co today, after the zoo. She had a mini-double-doozie. She was so funny to watch; we had to capture it for you! At first she thought her fingers were "yucky". After I told her to taste the icing, she realized it was delightful!!!

Saturday Rituals

Because we don't have a lot of friends or money here in Memphis, we spend most of our Saturdays at the zoo. Our membership allows us to spend a few absolutely free hours at this wonderful place. Today was a little warm, but Finn did not mind at all. She also did not mind that Daddy accidentally left her stroller in the other car. She enjoyed riding on our shoulders and walking.
