Ballet Happiness

Nana and I took Finley to the ballet a few weeks ago. Finley absolutely loved it. She is so good at sitting through performances; I credit that to the fact she has spent her 4.5 years of life surrounded by theatre.

Finley had 2 special friends in a ballet performance of Hansel & Gretel, so we had to see the show and congratulate them on their hard work. Before the show we had lunch with Nana at her house, of course! Finley took some time to work on her creativity. This girl loves to make cards and projects. Such an artsy girl! This Momma is proud.
Nana and Finley waiting for the show to begin! Popcorn, M&Ms and bottled water were a great help in the "waiting"

Finley and Momma. She looks like a teenager in this picture!

Finley with her friend, Caitlin, who played the witch. Caitlin is a beautiful dancer and hopefully will be Finley's teacher one day! We love Caitlin and her fantastic family!

Finley was excited to see her dear friend, Isabel. Isabel played a baby bird and a dew drop in the ballet. She was perfect.

Aren't they adorable??

Finley's big recital is coming up next weekend, so this was good practice getting to watch how ballet performances work. Finley loves dancing and we really hope she continues to enjoy it as she becomes a better dancer!

Finley Celeste Update

Finley is 4 years and about 5 months old. She's the smartest, most conscientious girl we know. She is terrific at sharing and loves her sister unbelievably well. Finley is learning how to read, and she's very good at recognizing her letters and knowing the sounds that they each make.

Finley's favorite food is fruit. Her favorite movie at the moment is ET. She loves to sing, dance, and say her prayers. She takes care of her sister and I know LK is in the best care when Finley is around.

Did I mention how beautiful she is????

Libby Kate update

It is time for a Libby Kate update. LK is approximately 17 months old. She is a joyful, beautiful child. She's short and stocky, with a smile that lights up her whole face. Libby Kate waddles like ET and we call her The BEAST because she grunts and growls. She talks all the time, but we have no idea what she's saying. We can figure out Momma, Daddy, Drink, Water, Thank You, Addy, Nana, Papaw, and her favorite word: Ah-Oh.

Libby Kate is still far behind on her teeth. She has 2 bottom teeth and 1 tooth on the side up top. Luckily she's our second child, and we don't worry too much about milestones. We know she'll end up with teeth at some point in her life; she won't be 16 years old with only 3 teeth!

LibbyKate loves to laugh and make others laugh. She is a Momma's girl to the core. If I am anywhere within her line of vision, she is screaming for me. Although it's wonderful to be wanted, it is frustrating at times. I know she will outgrow this stage, so I am trying to enjoy the attached baby as much as possible.

Here are some recent shots of our beautiful Libby Kate!

Mother's Day

I've been a terrible blogger. Between the musical, end of school year tasks, and summer beginning, I am behind!!!

Let's go back a bit to what has been going on with the Robersons! Mother's day was spent at Nana's house for lunch. The girls loved giving Nana her present. We don't have any pictures of me and the girls, but hopefully we can find someone who took a few shots. Ha.
