Movie Night

We recently were watching John and Kate Plus 8 and got the idea of having movie night on Friday nights. We normally spend most of our weekend days together, but this Friday we decided to make it extra special. We all ate dinner at our favorite pizza place. Then Finley got to pick out a movie, popcorn, and one special candy at Blockbuster. She was sooo excited. She walked around saying, "Finley pick out one movie!" She chose Madagascar. We popped some popcorn, hid some candy inside, made a pile of pillows on the floor, and had quality family time. It was great!!!!

    I am not sure when the tradition started, but Friday was always pizza night for my family. We would rent a movie, or borrow one from the library, and for a long time my mom made the pizza herself (so it doesn't have to get too expensive). My parents still eat pizza every Friday, even when the kids are not around! :) It is a great tradition.
